One way to keep informed about SoutholdVOICE is to subscribe to updates by email. To do this, go to the home page at www.SoutholdVOICE.com, and in the right side bar underneath your login, there’s a place to submit your email address. Click submit and you’ll be taken to a pop-up screen that asks you to enter a random collection of letters into another box. This is called a “catchpa” and is there to make sure you’re a real person, not a robot. You’ll then receive an email verification to the address you submitted. If you don’t receive one, check your spam box.
We only send out an email when there’s a new article to read. We don’t send out updates for any comments on an article, although in the Forum, as a registered member, you can login and see posts since your last visit, and you can also subscribe to particular threads.
If no new articles have been posted to the website, you won’t receive an email at all. Typically, we publish one or at the most two new articles per week. This is Southold and we don’t spam! By the way, we always on the hunt for new articles, so if you have an idea for one, or even better, would like to write one, do please let us know.
