CAC Presentation by John Bredemeyer

 

In an effort to provide information to those interested in helping remediate impaired Town Shellfish Lands, Southold Town Trustee, John Bredemeyer, will be making a brief presentation to the Southold Town Conservation Council at 4:30 PM on Wednesday May 11, 2011 at Down’s Creek Preserve, Cutchogue. Topics to be covered are: The Coliform Bacteria, The Involved Agencies, New water testing methods and a brief description of the Town’s MS4 program.

The meeting is open to the public, and although seating there is quite limited, the weather is supposed to be great, and it’s possible to move outside, so everyone welcome!

About Trustee John Bredemeyer: A graduate of Greenport High School and an Orient resident, Mr. Bremeyer’s education includes Cornell University (B.S., New York State College of Agriculture) and graduate courses at Southampton College L.I.U., Hofstra University and Suffolk County Community College. He has been employed by the Suffolk County Department of Health since 1975, as well as working for Suffolk County Community College, Science Department since 1991. Mr. Bredemeyer served previously as a Southold Town Trustee from 1984 to 1994, and was elected a Trustee in 2009.
