FEMA Assessment Teams arrive on the NOFO following blizzard

Ten days after the blizzard struck the North Fork coastline, FEMA showed up this week to inspect the damage to infrastructure and property along the coastline in Southold, caused December 26th to 28th last year. The first team, called the Public Assistance Team (PA) arrived Wednesday Jan 5th, followed by the Individual Assist Team (IA) on Thursday Jan 6th 2011. Find out who came, the sites visited and how you may be able to benefit from FEMA assistance.
