Comprehensive Master Plan – Economic Development Chapter

The New Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Southold is a community-wide effort to plan for the physical growth and development of the Town of Southold, New York. Whether you’re a long-time resident, second homeowner, or have recently moved to our community, your opinions and contributions are invaluable to this planning process. The information gathered through the Town’s website, public meetings and other outreach efforts will be used in the Town’s Comprehensive Plan.

Keep our Fish from Getting Hooked!

It’s a start! Thank you to our independent East End pharmacies, who are now offering a program to help us keep toxins from unwanted medications out of our waterways. Bring your drugs on Wednesday this week, November 17th 2010, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., to Southold Pharmacy, Shelter Island Heights Pharmacy and Barth’s Pharmacy in Mattituck and Riverhead. They will be collected and turned over for proper incineration and it does not matter whether the drugs were purchased at one of the participating stores.
